Leslie County Release Feed Status
The official Leslie County jail site sends its Inmates link to a current Cadmus portal. Its reviewed navigation does not provide a separately labeled recent-release archive or a rolling 24-hour view. No official feed URL, field list, refresh rate, photo rule, or retention window was verified. That absence is the central fact for a same-day search.
The Leslie current-inmate portal can show that a person is presently associated with the jail. It cannot be relabeled as a release log. If a name is gone, the portal alone cannot separate bond, time served, court-ordered release, transfer, state commitment, spelling error, data lag, or an outage.
Check Leslie County Same-Day Releases
Because no browseable Leslie County list exists, a same-day check must begin with one named person and an approximate booking date. Record the exact spelling and time of each search. Two matching identifiers, such as date of birth and booking number, reduce the risk of joining records for different people.
- Search the official current portal. Presence points to current association with the jail; absence only triggers the next check.
- Search Kentucky VINE through VINELink. Read the status and source agency exactly, and do not supply a reason VINE does not show.
- Use the Kentucky court case route for a bond, dismissal, release, commitment, or sentencing order.
- Check Kentucky Offender Online Lookup if state custody or supervision may follow.
- Call the detention center and request the booking-specific release, transfer, or custody-status-change record.
- Compare the event time, agency, and identifiers across at least two official sources.
The broader named-person path is covered on the Leslie County released-inmate search. It is useful when the suspected event falls outside one day or the last holding agency is unclear.
Leslie County Release Record Fields
No public 24-hour table was verified, so these are fields to request from the agency, not fields promised on the portal. Ask for an existing record tied to one booking. The jail need not create a new daily list or answer a broad research question.
| Requested field | What it can establish |
|---|---|
| Full name and booking number | Connects the event to the correct booking. |
| Booking or admission time | Defines the custody episode being researched. |
| Release or status-change time | Records when jail custody changed. |
| Release authority or type | May distinguish bond, court order, sentence end, parole, or another coded result. |
| Destination or receiving agency | Separates community release from transfer. |
| Booking photograph | Links the requested image to that episode, subject to lawful limits. |
A court order can show legal authority, but it may not prove the moment a person physically left. Likewise, a transfer date proves movement, not freedom. The maintained jail event is the best local source for that distinction.
Request Leslie County Release Proof
Send a narrow written request to the Leslie County Jailer or designated records custodian. The official county page lists Jailer Danny Clark at PO Box 619, Hyden, KY 41749, with phone 606-672-2637. The jail's About page lists business hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., phone 606-672-1167, and dannyclark.lcdc@outlook.com. Confirm the current custodian and delivery method before sending sensitive identifiers.
Ask for the existing booking/release or custody-status-change record, the recorded date and time, any maintained release type, and the destination if it was a transfer. State that medical, juvenile, victim, Social Security, security-sensitive, and other exempt data are not sought. Under Kentucky's Open Records Act, agencies provide existing records and generally need not build a custom 24-hour report.
For a wider date span, use the Leslie County 72-hour release process. Its three-day focus is better for events near a weekend or when the exact day is uncertain.
Leslie Release or Transfer
“Released from Leslie custody” does not always mean entry into the community. A person may leave the detention center for another county jail, a Kentucky DOC institution, federal pretrial custody, or civil immigration custody. The receiving agency field, a new KOOL location, a court commitment order, or a VINE transfer event can clarify the next stop.
| Signal | Careful reading |
|---|---|
| Present on Leslie roster | Still associated with current jail custody, subject to portal limits. |
| Gone from Leslie roster | Unknown without another source. |
| VINE says released | Custody status and date from the named source, not necessarily the legal reason. |
| KOOL shows an institution | State custody continues. |
| KOOL shows P&P location | State community supervision may be active. |
| Jail record names destination | Strong evidence of release versus transfer. |
Federal systems apply only when federal authority is involved. A state or county no-result must not be converted into a federal release claim.
No Leslie Release App Verified
No official Leslie jail or sheriff mobile app with a recent-release feature was verified. The county jail uses its official web navigation and current Cadmus portal. Kentucky VINE offers statewide web and app notification tools, but it is not a Leslie County 24-hour browse feed.
If an app later claims to publish local releases, verify its publisher and platform link through the official jail site before relying on it. Check whether it names the source agency, window, update date, event fields, and photo policy. An unlinked commercial listing should not be treated as the county archive.
The successful Leslie jail contact image in the project manifest comes from the official About page. The official source shows the local contact fallback used when no same-day feed exists.

Use the live source for current details, since a captured page can age.
Note: VINE alert timing does not create a public Leslie County release list or establish the jail portal's refresh rate.
Leslie DOC Daily Release Limits
Kentucky DOC publishes dated Daily Releases documents that can add a narrow historical clue. A confirmed report for August 21, 2024 includes Leslie County Detention Center as a facility. That means a person under state authority was released from a DOC status while connected with the county jail. It does not mean the document lists every person who left the jail that day.
Local events have a broader range. Bond, recognizance, dismissal, pretrial release, a county-sentence completion, and transfers outside DOC authority may never appear in a state Daily Releases file. The document is not a live Leslie County 24-hour feed. Search it only when state custody is plausible and the date is known, then compare the result with KOOL, VINE, the court case, and the jail movement record.
KOOL has separate limits. Its FAQ says it updates four times daily, while DOC warns that newer data may not be final. That cadence belongs to the state system, not Leslie's portal. An institution location points to continued custody. A community-supervision location may document probation or parole, but it does not supply the local release reason.
Note: A dated DOC report is state-custody evidence, not a full count of Leslie County jail departures.
Leslie VINE Same-Day Results
Kentucky VINE is designed for a named custody check and notification, not browsing everyone released today. Select Kentucky in VINELink, search the person, compare the agency and identifiers, and read the returned status in its own words. If the record says released or out of custody, note the event date and source agency. Do not add a bond, sentence, or transfer reason unless another official record supplies it.
The Attorney General says jail-release calls repeat every 30 minutes for up to 24 hours or until acknowledged. That is a notification rhythm for a registered person. It does not prove the Leslie portal refreshes at that rate and does not create a public list. If VINE has no result, try an alias and contact the jail. No result is not proof that no booking occurred.
